HOLIDAY INN – BOARDMAN
The property's Executive Housekeeper, Mary Lou Grover, was named Executive Housekeeper of the Year by Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG), Holiday Inn's parent company.

Mary Lou Grover was selected by IHG as Executive Housekeeper of the Year because of her qualifications and accomplishments. Grover, who has more than 30 years experience in the hospitality industry, was selected from more than 1,200 full-service Holiday Inn hotels worldwide.

Grover has been an employee of the Holiday Inn - Boardman for more than 17 years, and served as the Executive Housekeeper for each of the 13 years the hotel received the Torchbearer award. She was also featured in the Holiday Inn training video used in more than 1,200 Holiday Inns nationwide.

In addition to being dedicated to her job, Grover works with special needs adults, helping them become familiar with working in the hospitality industry. She also participates in other charitable events, including the hotel's annual American Red Cross Blood Drive and Give Kids the World Car Wash.
